I couldnt find the time to blog this past week or so. Work has been so busy. I am literally doing the work of two people for a few weeks. I wont complain because...

A) Im thankful for the job that i have.

B) Being busy makes the day go by quick.

So all in all, it was a good week. I worked overtime just about everyday, ate dinner, power walked, rested with my lovely husband, and went to sleep. I have another long week ahead of me but am looking forward to the holiday weekend.

This past weekend was my good friend George's 30th birthday. Mr. P couldnt make it out but i represented the two of us at the celebration. We headed into the city for a late night out. We had a good time but i realized i can not hang out late anymore. I am too old and get too tired to come home after 4 am which is what i did on Saturday/Sunday.

Even though i got in later then i would have liked i still had a great time. George and I have been friends for a very long time. We didnt become really good friends until just after high school but we knew each other since middle school. I am so happy that after all of these years we remained so close. George is like a brother to me.

Ok, ill stop that.

Anyhow, back to George. I love him, i love his fiance and i love their children. I know we are going to be friends when we are old and grey and that is a good feeling!
